The third edition of the UNESCO World Forum on Culture and Cultural Industries (FOCUS) will take place from 2 to 4 October, 2014 in Florence (Italy). Almost 300 representatives from the public and private cultural sectors will participate. The event will conclude with the adoption of the “Florence Declaration”, presenting proposals on the integration of culture in the Post-2015 Development Agenda, which will be discussed by the United Nations General Assembly the following year. Michael Soendermann (panelist) will present “Measuring the true Value of Culture” in the panel 5: ‘New Approaches to Measuring Change’ on 3 October (Florence, Palazzo Vecchio, Salone de Cinquecento).
